Department Information Technical Operations & User Experience (TechOps & UX) is a dynamic organization within Campus Services dedicated to enhancing the student experience through technology, service excellence, and continuous innovation. Our teams support a wide range of campus operations by delivering integrated technology solutions, customer support services, financial and business operations, credentialing and access systems, and strategic initiatives that improve how the Georgia Tech community interacts with Campus Services. By combining operational expertise with a commitment to human-centered design, we create reliable, accessible, and efficient services that support students, faculty, staff, and visitors every day. This position serves as a key operational partner to the Access Control team, supporting the planning, coordination, and execution of access control projects and installations across campus. The role helps ensure projects are completed efficiently, stakeholders remain informed, and operational processes are consistently executed.
Job Summary
The Business Operations Analyst provides strategic support for departmental operations, including process improvement, vendor management, and resource planning. This role exercises independent judgment in resolving operational challenges, recommending procedural changes, and coordinating cross-functional initiatives. The incumbent works with minimal supervision and contributes to the development of departmental strategies and service delivery models.

Responsibilities
Job Duty 1 - Provide input to leadership on operational risks and improvement opportunities, supporting policy updates and strategic initiatives.
Job Duty 2 - Support operational planning by assessing resource needs and reviewing vendor performance to ensure alignment with goals.
Job Duty 3 - Oversee procurement activities, including reviewing vendor proposals, negotiating terms, and recommending selections.
Job Duty 4 - Review and refine operational workflows to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and support departmental objectives.
Job Duty 5 - Assist in developing and updating departmental procedures to ensure consistency with institutional policies and compliance requirements.
Job Duty 6 - Act as a liaison between internal teams and external vendors to coordinate services and maintain delivery standards.
Job Duty 7 - Coordinate student staffing efforts, including budget tracking, onboarding support, and performance monitoring. Job Duty 8 - Independently resolve routine and complex operational issues, escalating only when necessary.
Job Duty 9 - Prepare reports and dashboards to monitor key performance indicators and support leadership decision-making.
Job Duty 10 - Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
Educational Requirements Associate degree in a related discipline or equivalent, related experience

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
SKILLS This job requires a working knowledge of customer service organization and processing as applied within assigned unit which will include skills in staff supervision, program management, communications and organization. Use of office and specialty computer applications is required.
