Oilfield Operator

We are seeking a dependable and safety-focused Oilfield Operator to safely transport, handle, and deliver fuel and related products to customer locations. This role operates commercial vehicles and specialized oilfield equipment while performing fueling, product transfer, equipment operation, and customer service activities.

Key Responsibilities



  • Safely operate commercial vehicles, pumps, valves, meters, hoses, and related equipment.
  • Perform pre-trip, post-trip, and daily inspections of vehicles and equipment.
  • Verify product quantities, delivery locations, and customer requirements before unloading.
  • Safely perform fueling and product transfer activities at customer and oilfield locations.
  • Identify and report equipment defects, spills, leaks, hazards, and other safety concerns.
  • Maintain accurate delivery, inspection, and required DOT documentation.
  • Follow all company safety policies, DOT regulations, environmental requirements, and customer site procedures.
  • Maintain clean and professional equipment and work areas.
  • Participate in required safety meetings, training, and continuing education.
  • Provide professional customer service and maintain positive customer relationships.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.


Qualifications



  • Must be at least 21 years old.
  • Valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record meeting company and insurance requirements.
  • Ability to understand and follow DOT regulations, safety procedures, permits, and customer requirements.
  • Mechanical aptitude and ability to safely operate and troubleshoot pumps, hoses, valves, meters, and related equipment.
  • Comfortable using tablets, mobile applications, and other technology.
  • Strong communication, customer service, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and make sound decisions in dynamic field environments.
  • Ability to work overtime, nights, weekends, and overnight travel as business needs require.
  • Ability to work extended shifts in varying and extreme weather conditions.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.


Preferred Qualifications



  • Class A or B CDL preferred.
  • Hazmat and tanker endorsements preferred.
  • Previous oilfield, energy, fuel delivery, or industrial field experience.
  • Experience operating pumps, fluid transfer systems, hoses, valves, or similar equipment.
  • Experience fueling heavy equipment or transferring fuel and petroleum products.
  • Customer-required site certifications or "carded" status.
  • Local candidates preferred; qualified non-local candidates may be considered based on business needs and experience.


Physical Requirements & Work Environment



  • Ability to work outdoors in varying and extreme weather conditions and in active oilfield, industrial, and customer environments.
  • Ability to climb on/off commercial vehicles and equipment and perform frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and reaching.
  • Ability to safely handle hoses, fittings, tools, and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to wear required PPE and follow all applicable safety requirements.
  • Ability to work extended shifts, nights, weekends, and overnight travel as business needs require.
