Provides subject matter expertise on field observations and provides consultation and guidance on corrective action development. Collaborates with and supports lines of business (LOBs) on safety issues. Communicates safety trends and recommends corrective actions. Serves as a resource for the development, implementation, and sustainability of the various company-wide safety initiatives. The Field Safety Specialist job family is limited to the Enterprise Health & Safety functional area for reporting to the Chief Safety Officer. This position is hybrid. You will work from your remote office and your assigned location based on business needs. The headquarters' is located in the Metcalf Substation. PG&E is providing the hourly rate range that the company, in good faith, believes it might pay for this position at the time of the job posting. This compensation range is specific to the locality of the job. The actual hourly rate paid to an individual will be based on multiple factors, including, but not limited to, specific skills, education, licenses or certifications, experience, market value, geographic location, and internal equity. Although we estimate the successful candidate hired into this role will be placed towards the middle or entry point of the range, the decision will be made on a case-by-case basis related to these factors. This job is also eligible to participate in PG&E's discretionary incentive compensation programs. The hourly rate for this position ranges from $48.08 to $81.25.
