Research Assistant III - Lipton Lab

• Independently decides which techniques may be appropriate for specific experimental investigations and carries out those experiments with minimal supervision or independently.
• Critically evaluates experimental results independently and provides summaries or interpretation of results to PI.
• Troubleshoots procedures if experimental results are unexpected or quality of specimens is poor. May suggest alternative routine procedures to crosscheck own findings. Performs techniques typically required for the laboratory/study.
• May coach RA I and RA II, interns, Co Ops on basic lab techniques.
• Calculates, graphs and compiles data obtained, maintaining records and logs of work performed; uses computer to perform statistical analyses.

• Master's of Science degree is required.

• Minimum of one year of relevant work experience is required.

The posted pay range is Boston Children's reasonable and good-faith expectation for this pay at the time of posting.
