IMEG is hiring a Structural Engineering New Graduate in Urbandale, Iowa to work closely with a team of experienced engineers and consultants to provide engineering solutions and advice to clients to ensure positive outcomes. This entry-level role offers hands-on design, analysis, and project execution experience, with mentorship, training, and opportunities to grow your expertise from day one. In this role, you will support structural analysis, design, and development of documents for structural systems while collaborating with cross-functional teams and working within project budgets. You will contribute to projects across structural, commercial, and institutional work, contributing to sustainable design goals including SE2050. At a Glance Location: Urbandale, IA What You'll Do * Assist in the design and analysis of structural systems using a variety of building materials, utilizing engineering software and tools to create detailed designs, specifications, and calculations according to code requirements and IMEG standards What You'll Bring Required Education * Bachelor of Science (BS) Degree in Civil, Structural, or Architectural Engineering, or equivalent, required Required Skills/Abilities Preferred About the Team * Large multi-office structural team with active work across healthcare, education, housing, industrial, and public-sector projects in the Midwest and beyond.
