We're seeking a future team member for the role of Senior Specialist, Fiduciary to join our Wealth Management Family Office team. This role is located in Pittsburgh, PA. In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways:
- Collaborate with a team of Advisors and Fiduciary Officers focused on the administration and service of Trusts, Foundations and Family Office client accounts
- Support senior Fiduciary officers in the management and administration of existing client relationships, as well as the analysis and adherence to the governing trust agreement, risk management and compliance
- Direct engagement with clients, co-trustees, Family Office personnel and external advisors to ensure BNY is meeting the highest fiduciary standards as required by complex, multi-generational family relationships
- Administer new business opportunities, onboard client prospects, and support the responsible growth of the Fiduciary business
- Serve as a resource in the development and delivery of estate planning and financial advice to provide solutions aligned with clients' short- and long-term strategic objectives
- Support client service, KYC, records management, reporting and compliance activities in alignment with applicable policies and procedures
To be successful in this role, we're seeking the following:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required
- 2-5 years of experience working with clients, trusts and/or estates, including fiduciary administration, taxation or the drafting/advisement of legal documents.
- Strong knowledge of fiduciary nomenclature and practices, trust administration, and client service principles
- Experience working directly with clients, legal advisors, tax advisors, and internal partners in a high-touch environment
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, written, verbal, and presentation skills
- Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple priorities, identify risk, and follow through on assigned matters
- Continuous learning mindset, with the ability to gain knowledge of policies and procedures to progress within the role
- CTFA or CFP preferred
