SUMMARY

We are currently seeking an Enterprise Engineer Intermediate to join our team. This fulltime role will work days. This position will primarily work remotely - seeking local candidates for on site system upgrades

Purpose of this position: Under general supervision, provide exceptional support for HCMC applications throughout the systems life cycle and serve as a liaison with operational owners / customers.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage complete lifecycle for medium/large supported applications including implementations, maintenance, upgrades, and retirements
  • Find and analyze various error logs (Windows/App/IIS/Firewall/etc.)
  • Understand basic security best practice activities including Firewall rules on servers/workstations, password and credential management, TLS, and SSL
  • Evaluate and modify configuration components (.ini/xml files)
  • Learn all IS&T tools (ServiceNow, Outlook, etc.)
  • Translate technical terminology and concepts to non-technical team members. Create documentation appropriate to the audience
  • Provide first/2nd tier support and troubleshooting for functional/analytical/technical support tickets
  • Work in a team-oriented and collaborative environment
  • Review proprietary interface engine messages
  • Understand basic HL7 message formatting and message evaluation (ADT/Orders/Results)
  • Maintain and support Citrix published applications
  • Provide regular and/or off hour on call support as scheduled
  • Perform other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Associates of Arts (AA) or Bachelor's degree
  • 3 years of relevant experience

  • An approved equivalent combination of education and experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Healthcare industry experience
  • Experience developing technical/systems design specifications and building system solutions
  • Ability to provide customer focused service and communicate the value of proposed solutions

  • Ability to think strategically and demonstrate flexibility to adapt to changes in organizational or department priorities
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Demonstrated analytical, critical thinking, problem solving, and conflict resolution skills
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks
  • Ability to explain or demonstrate technology in a manner suited to the audience
  • Understanding and ability to evaluate and modify configuration components (.ini/xml files)
  • Ability to translate technical terminology and concepts to non-technical team members
  • Ability to work in a team-oriented and collaborative environment
  • Ability to review proprietary interface engine messages
  • Familiarity with Citrix published applications and how to maintain and support
