Position Overview:

This position ensures effective execution of maintenance work control processes by managing priorities, developing job plans, and identifying required parts, materials, crafts, and skills. The role assigns work control plans to the appropriate team members for execution by hourly maintenance staff, provides equipment-related expertise and technical guidance, and may supervise hourly Trilliant employees and contractors as needed

Responsibilities:

* Coordinate maintenance downtime with the scheduling team.

* Schedule and delegate department workload to maintenance crews.

o Generate preventive maintenance tasks using computer-based maintenance management software.

o Ensure scheduled work includes a work kit prepared by the maintenance planner or parts administrator.

o Help prioritize open work orders.

* Review all work orders to:

o Address equipment deficiencies found during preventive maintenance inspections.

o Maintain a log of recurring failures.

o Escalate equipment concerns to management, engineering, and/or OEMs.

o Identify opportunities to improve processes and equipment.

* Strengthen the maintenance program by evaluating equipment failure trends, reducing planned downtime, and incorporating predictive maintenance technologies.

* Create technical SOPs, training materials, and troubleshooting guides for the maintenance department with support from other maintenance personnel.

* Review, approve, and plan work requests.

o Follow up on unclear, denied, and completed requests that require action beyond the automated response system.

* Coordinate and manage contracted maintenance and repair activities, including:

o Contracted preventive maintenance programs.

o Planned maintenance projects that require contractor support.

* Maintain and report department key performance indicators (KPIs) to the Maintenance Manager.

* Oversee building and grounds maintenance at Trilliant, including contracting and managing lawn care, snow and ice removal, HVAC, plumbing, and air compressor services.

* Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

* Two to three years of experience in maintenance or maintenance planning.

* High school diploma or GED; higher education preferred.

* Knowledge of production and procurement policies and procedures.

* Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills.

* Effective oral and written communication and problem-solving skills.

* Mechanical aptitude and the ability to read blueprints and product drawings.

* Proficiency with Outlook, Word, Excel, and related tools.

* Ability to travel as needed.

* Experience implementing SOP, OSHA, GMP, SQF, HACCP, or other quality, food safety, and employee safety programs.

* Follow all Food Safety, Safety, GMP, and Quality policies and procedures, and report any nonconformities.

* Ability to manage multiple priorities, projects, and change effectively.

* Strong attention to detail.

* Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.

* Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and work effectively at all organizational levels.

* Strong troubleshooting and judgment skills.

* Resourceful, proactive, energetic, and results driven.

* Desire to work in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

Hours, Location and Pay:

We offer a competitive base pay rate and benefits package for full-time employees. This role works standard business hours Monday - Friday at our Little Chute, WI manufacturing facility.

Physical and Mental Demands:

* While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit, hear, use hands to type data, use a personal computer and telephone. This employee may occasionally have to operate business machines and lift and/move up to 50 pounds.
