Job Specific
- The LINC position is responsible for coordination and servicing of convention and group business
- Liaise daily with conference and convention guests to handle specific requests and ensure guest satisfaction.
- Communicates changes in conference programs to appropriate hotel operating departments. More specifically: Continually check in with Meeting Planners to assess needs/requirements.
- Maintains communications with clients and appropriate hotel departments via RUSH Line and radio
- Keep in contact with the appropriate Catering/Conference Manager regarding any changes/updates pertaining to their group
- Provide outstanding services to clients in accordance with Loews Hotels Star Service standards to ensure total guest satisfaction
- Meet with Catering/Conference Manager prior to arrival of each group to fully understand the needs and flow of every group
- Meet daily with Catering/Conference Manager to ensure full understanding of the needs and flow of each group in-house
- Maintain the accuracy of the BEO Bible (guarantees, replacing revised/original BEO's, F&B BEO's placed in correct section, etc.)
- Produce the Outdoor Event Report on a weekly basis
- Weekly maintenance (Engineering) reports/walkthroughs
- Reports to Engineering any items needing to be fixed/corrected
- Walk all room set-ups in advance, ensure they are correct
- Ensure all events are posted correctly on the Reader Board
- Review Resume and BEO's in great detail to determine needs and assist with facilitating them with the Conference or Catering Manager's assistance
- Regularly check on preparations and activities for all assigned group events
- Meet periodically with clients throughout the day for the duration of their stay to answer questions, coordinate necessary changes, anticipate needs, and troubleshoot problems
- Coordinate package delivery for group clients, coordinating with the Business Center and Receiving Departments
- Notifies appropriate individual promptly and fully of all problems and/or unusual matters of significance

- Attends all appropriate hotel meetings and training sessions
