Portfolios showcasing motion design/After Effects work and/or strong production lighting are especially encouraged. *Immigration sponsorship or support (e.g. H1B, F-1 CPT/OPT/STEM OPT) is not available for this position, except for qualified candidates eligible for the TN visa classification.* We're looking for an emerging video professional who loves the entire production process and wants to bring strong creative and technical skills to a collaborative team. Position Summary: Responsible forcreating engaging video content from concept through final delivery, including filming, editing, motion graphics, animation, and cinematography for internal and external audiences. Essential Functions and Responsibilities Produce engaging, professional customized video content for projects and clients inside and outside the firm, utilizing JMT's in-house video and audio recording equipment and editing software. Collaborate with JMT's Brand team, and internal/external clients to script/storyboard, shoot, edit, and deliver high-quality video projects. Create motion graphics, animated typography, transitions, and other visual elements. Plan and execute professional lighting setups for interviews and other video productions, with attention to light quality, direction, exposure, and overall visual style. Provide wide range of video production services throughout the life-cycle of a video project (development, pre-production, production, post-production, and marketing & distribution) Responsible for all video, audio, and motion graphic production, including conceptualizing, storyboarding, planning, shooting, organization and lighting of video shoots, creating graphics, editing, color correction, compression and encoding of videos, and digital asset management. Responsible for video strategy and ensuring consistency with JMT's core messaging and branding, as well as any program goals and objectives. Ability to work in a deadline-driven environment without compromising creativity. Nonessential Functions and Responsibilities Perform other related duties as assigned Required Experience Bachelor's Degree preferred or relevant years of experience 0-5 years of direct experience in video editing and production including audio and various multimedia production skills Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite Strong proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects Ability to edit compelling video, audio and multimedia as required by concept and script Strong visual judgment and attention to detail, including an understanding of composition, typography, pacing, color, and visual storytelling. Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple projects, maintain attention to detail, and consistently meet deadlines Video Scripting and Storyboarding Preferred Skills: Strong motion design and animation skills, particularly in Adobe After Effects. Strong production lighting skills, with the ability to create polished interview and video lighting setups. Working Conditions Work is performed within a general office environment. Work is generally sedentary in nature but may require occasional standing and walking. Lighting and temperature are adequate and there are no hazardous or unpleasant conditions caused by noise, dust, etc. within the office environment. Work will also include travel to project sites and carrying heavy equipment up to 25 pounds. This position is based at JMT's Headquarters in Hunt Valley, MD. Hybrid options are available after the initial training period. In-office coordination is required for filming. Benefits \| JMT Compensation for this position is $25-$32/hourly, commensurate with experience, education and certifications.
