Education Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Technical degree or certification in Machine Tool Technology, CNC Machining, Manufacturing Technology, or a related field preferred.
- Equivalent combination of machining experience and technical training will be considered.
- Ability to read blueprints, engineering drawings, and manufacturing specifications.
Experience Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of CNC machining, machine shop, or precision manufacturing experience preferred.
- Experience setting up, operating, and programming CNC machines.
- Ability to write and modify basic CNC programs.
- Proficient in reading blueprints and interpreting machining specifications and tolerances.
- Experience using precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges.
- Strong mechanical aptitude, troubleshooting skills, and attention to detail.
- Team-oriented with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn new equipment and processes.
Physical Capabilities
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and move throughout the shift in a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to safely lift, handle, and position materials and machine components as needed.
- Frequent use of hands and fingers to operate machinery, measuring tools, and production equipment.
- Ability to work with close tolerances and perform detailed inspection work.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced machine shop environment while maintaining safety and quality standards.
Job Duties
- Set up, operate, and program CNC machining equipment to manufacture precision parts according to specifications.
- Read and interpret blueprints, machine drawings, and work instructions to determine machining requirements.
- Load, receive, and transfer CNC programs through company network systems.
- Inspect machined parts using micrometers, calipers, and other precision measuring tools to verify dimensions and tolerances.
- Perform secondary operations such as deburring, stamping part numbers, and finishing components during machine cycle times.
- Conduct routine machine maintenance and ensure equipment remains in proper working condition.
- Utilize fixtures and tooling to complete production jobs with a high level of accuracy and efficiency.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and maintain work areas according to 5S standards.
- Cross-train on multiple machines and processes to support production schedules and customer deadlines.
- Follow all company safety policies, quality standards, and manufacturing procedures.

The base pay range listed reflects what we reasonably expect to offer for this role. Actual pay may vary based on location, experience, and performance.
