How You'll Make an Impact

The Deposit Operations Associate supports day-to-day deposit and payment operations including Real Time Payments (RTP), ACH and wire transfers, exception processing, dispute management, reconciliations, and account maintenance activities. The role also supports procedure management, system testing, operational reporting, vendor coordination, and continuous process improvement initiatives. This position serves as a subject matter expert in deposit operations and electronic payment processing while helping ensure operational accuracy, regulatory compliance, strong internal controls, and an exceptional member experience.

The ideal candidate must be competent and able to learn quickly, be highly detail-oriented, and be comfortable working with many different systems. The successful candidate will have worked in a financial institution setting, primarily in back-office transaction processing. This person will possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills and demonstrate the ability to identify opportunities that improve efficiency, controls, service quality, and the member experience. Exposure to process automation, RPA technologies, and AI-enabled workflow tools is preferred and may provide future development opportunities within the Operations team.

What You'll Be Doing



  • Performs ACH, wire transfer, RTP, deposit, and related payment processing activities including transaction posting, account maintenance, exception resolution, payment investigations, transaction research, and dispute processing.


  • Accountable forassigned processesandaccuratelycompleting these functions, within expectedtime frames, and within acceptable service level standards set by Management.


  • Monitors activity, tracks transactions, andvalidatesdata using reports and logs.Escalates issues appropriately.


  • Identifies and recommends process improvements that enhance operational efficiency, strengthen controls, improve service quality, and reduce operational risk. Participates in systems testing, implementation activities, reporting enhancements, and operational readiness reviews.


  • Providessupportandassistsother business units withinternal andexternal member requests.


  • Maintains broad operational knowledge and serves as a departmental backup as needed. Provides occasional support for fulfillment operations, document imaging, mail processing, and notary services as business needs require. These responsibilities represent a secondary component of the role and are expected to comprise a limited percentage of overall job responsibilities.


  • Maintains and updates assigned procedures, operating documentation, and policy sections. Recommends enhancements that support operational efficiency, accuracy, risk management, and regulatory compliance.


  • Collaborate with members, vendors, business partners, and internal departments to resolve operational issues, support payment processing activities, and improve service delivery. Participates in projects involving system updates, implementations, testing, and operational enhancements.


  • Promotes andmaintainsa positive work atmosphere by behaving and communicating in a manner consistent with professional standards toget alongwith members, co-workers,managementand vendors.


  • Keeps abreast of industry developments including, but not limited to, changes in regulations, technology, etc.


  • Ensures adherence to company policies and procedures and Banking/Credit Union Regulations.


  • Performsadditionalduties asrequired.


What You Bring to the Team

TheDepositOperations Associateworksunderminimalsupervision following established guidelines and procedures exercising some independent judgment.This person must beaction-oriented, self-motivated,and creative while being highly functional.



  • Bachelor's Degree preferredor minimum oftwo years of experience in deposit operations, ACH processing, wire transfers, payment operations, disputes, or related back-office banking or credit union functions.
  • Notary Public commission preferred. If required for business needs, Quorum will support the notary commissioning process, training, and associated fees.
  • Exposure to process automation, workflow optimization, AI-enabled operational tools, or robotic process automation (RPA) technologies is preferred but not required.
  • Working knowledge of operational rules, regulations, and procedures governing deposit operations, ACH processing, wires, disputes, account maintenance, and transaction processing activities within a financial institution.
  • Excellent problem-solving, organizational, analytical,verbaland written communication skills.Must be able to multi-task.
  • Strong decision making and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects/duties.
  • Trustworthy with the ability tomaintainhighestlevel of integrity and trust.
  • ProficiencyinMicrosoft Office products, specifically Outlook,Wordand Excel

Where You Can Work

This position requires working onsite five days per week at our corporate office in Purchase, NY.

Quorum's opportunities are based in the U.S., and U.S. work authorization is required. We are not able to provide current or future sponsorship.

Compensation & Rewards

Compensation for this role is $21.00 - $25.00 per hour with the potential for discretionary incentive compensation based on both company and individual performance.
