Commercial Member Service Representative I

Responsible for developing, maintaining, and expanding small business relationships through consultative, need-based sales of business lending, deposit, and cash management products and services. Provides a broad range of business member service functions, including opening and closing accounts, renewing certificate accounts, processing account maintenance requests, resolving account and checking-related concerns, responding to member inquiries, identifying cross-sell opportunities, and supporting positive member engagement. Ensures all business activities and lending practices comply with credit union policies, procedures, underwriting guidelines, and applicable regulatory requirements.

Commercial Member Service Representative I (CMSR I) focus on core business member service, business relationship development, financial information gathering, account support, and guidance to other credit union staff.

EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION:

Associate's degree in business or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Completion of required Business Services training courses after hire.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

Three (3) years of financial institution experience in a member service role.

One (1) year of experience in Business Services preferred.
