Overview

The Worldwide Sales and Solutions (WSS) organization is responsible for accelerating revenue and share growth by empowering customers and partners to securely transform with Microsoft Cloud, AI, Windows devices, and experiences. Within WSS, Windows and Devices Sales (WDS) unites the creation and delivery of Windows and device solutions to drive customer satisfaction globally. We work closely with a diverse ecosystem of partners and customers to ensure innovative solutions reach every market and segment.

At WDS we build, market and sell breakthrough AI-powered devices and cloud experiences with partners, including Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs), device distribution and reseller channels, Original Design Manufacturers (ODM), and Silicon providers. We work closely across the device partner ecosystem and internal teams to transform the world of computing.

Opportunities in WDS are expansive. We span the entire product lifecycle from incubation, prototyping, and portfolio planning to the device design, and selling them through the Retail, Distribution and Reseller channel, sell-through to their consumer and commercial customers. As a member of our team, you will be part of growing a multi-billion-dollar business, charting new areas of innovation, and contributing to our partnership engagements worldwide. You will play a pivotal role in driving the sales and growth of Windows devices and AI services in partnership with the strength of our device partner ecosystem.

As aRetail Platforms Technical Program Manager, you own the platforms that power Microsoft's retail partner and field ecosystem. You will drive the end-to-end health, roadmap, and delivery of a portfolio of partner-facing platforms includingExpertZone, the learning management system for Microsoft's retail partners and ecosystem and theRetail Engagement Platform, the data capture engine for all store-level retail activities. These platforms sit at the intersection of marketing strategy and hands-on technical execution. Critically, this is not a purely marketing role, it's about understanding how retail works and how to enable platforms that make us agile, accountable and best-in-class. It requires managing a bench of external engineering suppliers, directing Azure-based development work, and personally driving platform security, compliance, and operational reliability. The ideal candidate is equally comfortable steering a platform roadmap with business stakeholders and rolling up their sleeves on a production incident, a certificate transfer, or a supplier's development pipeline. This role is based in Redmond and supports a hybrid work environment, working in office 3 days per week.

Microsoft's mission is to empower every person and every organization on the planet to achieve more. As employees we come together with a growth mindset, innovate to empower others, and collaborate to realize our shared goals. Each day we build on our values of respect, integrity, and accountability to create a culture of inclusion where everyone can thrive at work and beyond.
