JOB ID: 4813 - Special Education Educational Assistant - PCA - Extracurricular and Nonacademic Support - Part-time, temporary positions available beginning 8/31/2026-6/11/2027. Location: All Schools Scheduled Hours/Days: Varies based on activity. Qualifications: Possess at least two years of college credits (60 credits) through an accredited institution, an associate's or higher degree, or a passing score on an approved assessment demonstrating the ability to assist with instruction in reading/language arts, writing, mathematics, and school readiness (the district can provide support for candidates needing to complete the assessment). Candidates should demonstrate knowledge of child development and behavioral management strategies, skills in building positive rapport with students and adapting instruction to individual needs, and the ability to remain calm while managing challenging behaviors. The successful candidate will work collaboratively as part of a special education team and maintain confidentiality in accordance with district policies. Pay Rate/Range: $22.30/hr. - $23.98/hr.
