Key Responsibilities * Project Leadership & Execution o Manage large, multi discipline pipeline projects, including engineering, environmental, permitting, land/easement acquisition, construction support, and commissioning. o Oversee project scope, schedule, budget, risk management, and quality assurance. o Coordinate internal engineering teams (mechanical, civil, electrical, structural, geotechnical, trenchless, etc.) and external stakeholders. o Ensure compliance with 49 CFR Part 192 and applicable federal, state, and local regulations. * Technical & Regulatory Expertise o Lead engineering and permitting efforts for distribution and transmission pipelines. o Guide teams through regulatory pathways, including environmental permitting, utility coordination, and agency approvals. o Provide technical oversight on pipeline routing, design, materials, construction methods, and safety compliance. * Client Management & Communication o Serve as the primary client interface, ensuring expectations are met and issues are resolved proactively. o Build strong, trust based relationships with clients, regulators, and project partners. o Prepare and deliver project updates, technical presentations, and executive level briefings. * Business Development & Growth o Support proposal development, pricing strategies, and pursuit planning. o Identify new opportunities with existing and prospective clients. o Contribute to strategic growth initiatives and market positioning. o For candidates newer to BD: demonstrate a strong desire to grow into a client facing, revenue generating role.
