What You'll Have the Opportunity to:

* Support the planning, design, construction and delivery of rail infrastructure projects.

* Assist with technical deliverables, including calculations, drawings, specifications, reports, exhibits and cost estimates.

* Contribute to a variety of projects involving track, facilities, structures, civil infrastructure, environmental services, construction field services, and advisory support.

* Participate in site visits, field assessments, inspections, and project walkthroughs.

* Utilize engineering, design and analytical tools to support project development and delivery.

* Research and apply applicable codes, standards, regulations and client requirements.

* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across engineering, environmental, advisory, technology and construction disciplines.

* Work alongside experienced engineers, project managers and technical specialists to develop your technical and professional skills.

* Travel periodically for project meetings, field assignments, client-related activities and construction support.

Preferred Qualifications

* Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification or plans to pursue professional licensure.

* Successful completion of, or plans to take, the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) Exam.

* Internship, co-op, research, field or project experience related to engineering, transportation, construction or infrastructure.

* Experience with engineering and design software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, OpenRoads, MicroStation, Revit, GIS, structural analysis software, Bluebeam, or similar platforms.

* Construction inspection, field assessment or surveying experience.

* Interest in freight rail, transit, industrial, port or transportation infrastructure projects.

* Familiarity with railroad design, bridge structures, rail facilities, construction management or related disciplines.
