In the role of Civil Designer, we'll count on you to:
- Work closely with Project Managers, Project Engineers, and a multi-discipline team to maintain design intent and model integrity as projects evolve.
- Apply AutoCAD and Bluebeam Revu for redline markups.
- Support the design and production of site civil construction documents related to Federal, Power, Architectural, Water/Wastewater, and Industrial Clients.
- Develop site civil design improvements in Civil 3D including site layout of driveways, parking and sidewalks, grading, storm water management, drainage, utility systems, and erosion and sediment control.
- Build and manage surface and utility profile models in Civil 3D including gravity and pressure pipe networks.
- Develop and prepare detailed construction drawings in Civil 3D to ensure that the files and plans adhere to HDR and/or client standards.
- Organize and manage model files, references, and data shortcuts to keep projects running smoothly.
- Demonstrate an understanding of site civil design concepts including earthwork, surfaces, site grading, profiles and pipe networks.
- Apply familiarity with Revit to coordinate workflows between Civil 3D and architectural/structural BIM models.
- Apply knowledge of Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) for project collaboration and document management.
- Maintain an attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture.
- Perform other duties as needed.

Preferred Qualifications:
- 3+ years of professional experience in site civil design, using Civil 3D
- Understanding of site civil design concepts, industry standards and practices
- Autodesk Civil 3D certification.
- Navisworks, MicroStation and OpenRoads experience is welcomed
Required Qualifications
- Technical degree or a minimum of 3 years related industry experience
- Technically qualified with 3D design software and document management infrastructure
- Competency of Microsoft Office products and communication tools
- Experience with 3D Coordination tools
- Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and organizational traits are essential
- Intermediate understanding of engineering or architectural concepts
