Education Requirements



  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Ability to read, understand, and follow work instructions, safety procedures, and production documentation.
  • Basic math skills for measurements and quality checks.


Experience Requirements



  • No previous braiding machine experience required. Paid training provided.
  • Manufacturing, production, machine operator, assembly, or warehouse experience is a plus.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced industrial environment is beneficial.


Preferred Qualifications



  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality products.
  • Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
  • Ability to learn machine operation, quality standards, and production processes.
  • Dependable team player with strong communication skills.
  • Willingness to work overtime or varying shifts as needed.


Physical Capabilities



  • Ability to stand and move throughout the shift in a manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to handle small-gauge wire, bobbins, and production materials.
  • Visual ability to inspect cable braid patterns, wire placement, and product quality.
  • Comfortable working around moving machinery and moderate noise levels while following PPE requirements.


Job Duties



  • Operate braid machines used to apply metallic braid to heat trace cable.
  • Load carriers and bobbins with wire materials, including tinned copper and stainless steel.
  • Assist with machine setup and changeovers under supervision.
  • Monitor machine performance and braid patterns during production runs.
  • Inspect finished cable for defects, gaps, loose wires, and uneven coverage.
  • Measure cable dimensions using basic measuring tools and record production data.
  • Complete production paperwork accurately and report equipment or quality concerns promptly.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area while following all company safety standards.
