Education Requirements High school diploma or GED preferred Basic math, reading, and computer skills required Ability to follow written and verbal work instructions Experience Requirements Previous manufacturing, production, assembly, foundry, or industrial experience preferred Experience working from work instructions, production specifications, or engineering drawings is a plus Ability to meet quality standards and production goals in a team environment Preferred Qualifications Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality Ability to identify process improvement opportunities Dependable work ethic and positive attitude Strong communication and teamwork skills Knowledge of safety practices in a manufacturing environment Physical Capabilities Frequent standing, walking, sitting, reaching, and material handling throughout the shift Regular lifting of up to 10 pounds and occasional lifting of up to 20 pounds Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to dust, vapors, and varying temperatures within established safety guidelines Occasional bending, reaching overhead, and repetitive movements Job Duties Perform foundry production activities, including mold production and related manufacturing processes Follow work instructions, engineering drawings, and production specifications to ensure quality output Complete assembly, soldering, testing, packaging, and other production tasks as assigned Inspect work for accuracy and maintain required production and quality standards Follow all ISO procedures, company policies, and workplace safety requirements Maintain a clean and organized work area using established housekeeping standards Report equipment malfunctions, safety concerns, and process issues to supervisors promptly Collaborate with team members and other departments to support efficient production operations Wabtec Benefits 401(k) 401(k) matching Dental insurance Employee assistance program Employee discount Flexible spending account Health insurance Health savings account Life insurance Paid time off Tuition reimbursement Vision insurance Keep the line alive.
