Equipment Technician

This role is ideal for a mechanically and technically minded individual who enjoys working closely with Manufacturing, Engineering, Production, Quality, and Maintenance teams to support a safe, efficient, and reliable manufacturing operation. As part of the Product Center (PC) function within Endress+Hauser Level+Pressure USA, you will play a critical role in maintaining, troubleshooting, improving, and supporting the equipment and technologies that enable the production of world-class measurement instrumentation. Which tasks will you perform?

You will:

• Troubleshoot and repair manufacturing equipment, automation systems, and tooling issues.

• Perform preventive, predictive, and emergency maintenance on production equipment.

• Design, fabricate, and modify production fixtures, tooling, and work holding devices.

• Support CNC machining, welding, fabrication, and assembly activities.

• Install, troubleshoot, and maintain production computer hardware and software.

• Manage spare parts inventory and support TPM, PM, and OEE initiatives.

• Assist with equipment upgrades, new equipment implementation, and process improvements.

• Create and maintain maintenance procedures, work instructions, and equipment documentation.

• Support production teams by responding to equipment downtime and technical issues.

• Participate in safety initiatives and serve as a safety resource within the production environment.

• Conduct equipment and operator training.

• Collaborate with Production, Quality, Maintenance, and Engineering teams to improve safety, quality, and productivity.

What do we expect from you?

You:

• Associate degree in Industrial Technology, Mechatronics, Automation, Mechanical Technology, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered.

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills related to manufacturing equipment, automation, tooling, and production processes.

• Experience with machining, fabrication, welding, assembly, or mechanical systems in a manufacturing environment.

• Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement in a manufacturing environment.

• Basic knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, motor controls, machine automation, and electrical systems.

• Ability to perform preventive maintenance and quickly respond to equipment downtime or production issues

• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with Production, Quality, Maintenance, and Engineering teams.

• Strong communication skills and the ability to document work, follow procedures, and train others when needed.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and familiarity with AutoCAD or similar technical software.

• Hands-on, flexible mindset with a willingness to support a variety of equipment, tooling, and production-related activities.
