What You'll Do

• Edit and produce written scripts and assets for educational video series.
• Design and develop comprehensive learning materials, including eLearning modules, video scripts, written training materials, job aids, and storyboards.
• Conduct thorough learning needs analysis to identify educational gaps and opportunities.
• Maintain and optimize the learning management system, including reporting on its effectiveness.
• Create multimedia materials such as videos, animations, and virtual learning environments.
• Capture screenshots and visual references to inform video production.
• Analyze user feedback to continuously improve course content and design.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure alignment and effectiveness of learning initiatives.
• Translate complex topics into clear, succinct, and engaging content for external and adult learners.

What You'll Bring (Must-Have Qualifications)

• 4+ years of experience in a Learning Design, eLearning, or educational content writing role.
• 4+ years of general copywriting experience.
• Experience in tech, eCommerce, or SaaS industries.
• A robust portfolio showcasing educational writing for external audiences or course design, which should include:
  
  
  
  • Examples of various project types: eLearning modules, video scripts, written training materials, job aids, or storyboards.
  • Demonstration of your design process, explaining the problem solved, target audience, the instructional design model used, and the development tools leveraged (e.g., Articulate Storyline, Vyond).
  • Writing samples that clearly demonstrate the ability to translate complex topics into clear, succinct, and engaging content for external/adult learners.
  
  
  
  
• Expert-level skills in Microsoft Office tools (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
• Experience working with project management software (e.g., Asana).

Bonus Points If You Have (Nice-to-Have Qualifications)

• Experience writing help documentation, video scripts, and designing learning materials.
• Knowledge and hands-on experience with learning management systems.
• Exceptional grammar, writing, and editing skills.
• Excellent communication skills - both verbal and written.
• Ability to write clearly and succinctly for multiple audiences using formal and informal tones.
• Experience working collaboratively with project stakeholders and designers.
• Self-starter with a passion for processes and technical tools.
• Experience with Content Management Systems (CMS) such as Contentstack or Salesforce.
• Familiarity with agile instructional design processes.
• Experience creating videos and presentations with Vyond or other AI-driven video production platforms.
• Experience in curating, developing, and managing online courses.
• A track record of working autonomously and self-managing projects while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Comfort navigating ambiguity and quickly pivoting direction based on changing business needs.
• A commitment to clarity in communication and comfort with giving and receiving candid feedback during the review process.
