ATI is looking for a Material Handler to join our Cudahy, Wisconsin facility on 2nd shift. In this hands-on role, you will help prepare large, forged metal products for shipment, using overhead cranes, forklifts and other material-handling equipment to move, package, verify and load products safely and accurately. Our Material Handler position reports to the Operations Leader and is an integral part of a dedicated team who take great pride in helping ATI achieve production and quality results. This is a second shift position from 3pm -11pm, Monday through Friday. Responsibilities Use crane and hand-operated equipment to aid in unloading trucks Open all packages once unloaded Check incoming supplies with packing slips and purchase order to ensure accuracy and completion Drive and operate ATI equipment in performance of the job Move incoming supplies and material to proper storage areas, bins, racks, boxes, etc. Pack products in boxes, crates or on pallets to conform to specifications and requirements Band products and weigh shipment and attach shipping and handling instructions Check shipment for correct materials, packing and crating, tagging and handling instructions, loading and bracing Completes necessary paperwork. Basic Qualifications High school diploma or GED Knowledge of shipping and handling methods Minimum of 1 year material handling experience. Preferred Qualifications (in addition to Basic Qualifications) Forklift experience Overhead crane experience Warehouse and inventory control experience Material inventory experience.
