Truck Driver, Over-the-Road (OTR)

Mileage Pay | Per Diem for Travel

Arcwood Environmental is looking for a reliable, safetyfocused OTR Truck Driver to join our team.

What You Can Expect

• Pay: Starting Pay $0.70 to $0.74 CPM depending on experience
• Sign on Bonus: $7,000
• Schedule: Fulltime
• Travel: Average home every other week (per diem provided)
• Equipment: Assigned tractor
• Transmission: Manual transmission experience preferred

What You'll Do

• Safely operate vans, rolloff trucks, and tankers (depending on training) for pickups and deliveries
• Completes assigned routes as designated by Transport dispatchers with loads consisting of customer materials to be transported to a disposal facility
• Prior to driving transportation equipment, prepares for daily trip by inspecting vehicle and equipment, fueling truck, and ensuring all equipment is in excellent operating order
• Completes manifests, Company documents, and other marking and placarding documents for every load managed
• Maintains logbook for DOT compliance and State and Federal regulations
• Drives to the customer site to collect waste material and/or transport hazardous and non-hazardous waste material to facility for unloading and disposal
• Acts as Company representative with courtesy towards every customer
• Support the team with additional duties as needed

What You Need

• High School Diploma or GED
• Class A CDL
• Hazmat endorsement required
• Tanker endorsement required
• Minimum 3 years of CDL driving experience
• Ability to work safely, stay alert, and perform some manual labor (climbing tankers, pulling hoses, etc.)

• Takes on additional duties as assigned to support the team and organization

• 3+ years of Class A CDL driving experience (required)
• Hazmat and Tanker endorsement (required)
