Work Arrangement: This is a hybrid position, with three days per week on campus.

The Workforce Solutions Coordinator (Education Program Development & Implementation Specialist 4) coordinates and manages logistics for both multi-year and short-term workforce initiatives. Operating in a hands-on operational capacity, this position drives the logistical support needed to assess, design, implement, and evaluate workforce solutions on a variety of projects. The coordinator will support the facilitation of training or other workforce activities across multiple modes-including in-person sessions, Zoom or Teams, online modules, and slide presentations-using proven adult learning principles and facilitation techniques. Grounded in a strong foundational knowledge of workforce development strategies and core competencies, they effectively apply this expertise to deliver practical support to workforce project leads and teams providing consultation, solutions implementation, training, and data collection and monitoring projects.

Working under general supervision, and in consultation with the workforce consultants and team leads, the Workforce Solutions Coordinator manages multiple project tasks in parallel, leveraging technology tools and data tracking systems to ensure project deliverables are met efficiently, accurately, and on schedule.

Decisions may involve selecting an approach from among alternatives, the timing and workflow for when tasks should be performed, and how to best use available resources. This role works with a diverse team of professionals carrying out project activities and may take direction from multiple project leads or primary investigators (PIs) leading assigned projects. Occasional State and national travel for periods of up to four days at a time is also expected.

The budgeted salary range for this position is $65,000 - $88,970. Final salary offers are dependent on
the candidate's experience, skills, and internal equity within the college.

Job Responsibilities

Project Operations & Logistical Coordination (30%)

  • Coordinate meeting schedules, resource allocation, and logistical needs for workforce initiatives, technical assistance, and training activities.

  • Track deliverables, manage workflows, and support project leads and Principal Investigators (PIs) across multiple parallel projects.

  • Oversee registration, facilitator assignments, scheduling, invoicing, and payment processes, adhering to external sales procedures in collaboration with ICI Ops.

  • Plan and execute logistics for webinars, training sessions, and events, including customer onboarding and guidance on learning management systems.

Workforce solutions implementation and data management (30%)

  • Provide training and technical assistance in support of workforce projects and solutions implementation.

  • Work as part of a team that engages and supports best practice implementation of DirectCourse as a workforce solution and the effective use of Learning Management Systems.

  • Provides LMS implementation support directly to clients on assigned projects.

  • Aggregate, compile, and analyze workforce and project data to monitor performance and satisfy funder status reporting requirements.

  • Conduct stakeholder outreach to collect necessary data and feedback for evaluation.

  • Identify, deploy, and utilize technology tools (e.g., project management software, data tracking systems, virtual platforms) to streamline workflows and deliver outcomes efficiently.

Tools and Solutions Development (20%)

  • Apply designated instructional design principles and adult learning theory to create, edit, and curate training curricula, webinars, and educational materials.

  • Develop written and digital content for presentations, newsletters, and online learning platforms adhering to accessibility compliance standards and best practices.

  • Support the revision, creation, or planning for existing or new workforce solutions in support of overall business and revenue goals of Direct Support Workforce Solutions.

  • Develop and revise evidence and competency-based content in training products and workforce solutions in accordance with designated instructional design and evidence-based practices.

Strategic and Organizational Support (20%)

  • Build and maintain relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders to identify ongoing workforce development, training, and evaluation needs.

  • Promote programs, design outreach materials, and execute social media/marketing strategies in collaboration with the Communications and Marketing team to drive participant recruitment and program expansion.

  • Represent the organization at conferences, marketing events, and exhibits, while monitoring industry trends to inform team planning.

  • Embed diversity, equity, and inclusion principles into consulting, technical assistance, and team planning activities, bringing forth ideas and perspective based on your unique experiences and viewpoint.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree with 5 years of relevant experience in human services, business, education, social work, evaluation, or a related field OR master's degree plus at least three years of experience of human services, business, education, social work, evaluation, or a related field

  • Travel: Willingness to undertake occasional state and national travel (up to 4 days per trip).

  • Demonstrated experience in project coordination which required managing parallel workstreams and re-prioritizing tasks in real-time to ensure consistent delivery.

  • Experience using or implementing learning management systems (LMS)

  • Experience using technology such as learning management systems (LMS), project management software, spreadsheets (e.g., Excel), presentation software (e.g., PowerPoint), word processing (e.g., Word), and virtual meeting (e.g., Zoom, Teams) platforms.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Additional education or experience in disability field with expertise in community living, including working knowledge of workforce development or HR recruitment, selection, training and retention.

  • Experience or education in developing curricula or products applying instructional design and adult learning principles.

  • Demonstrates a strong aptitude for self-directed learning; proactively acquires and applies mastery of new software applications, digital tools, instructional design principles, and evolving industry concepts to seamlessly support project delivery.

  • Experience collaborating with people from a variety of communities, backgrounds, and identities.

  • Multilingual to effectively support diverse participant populations and facilitate communication across varied groups.

  • Experience in multi-year technical assistance project coordination and management.

  • Demonstrated experience in understanding and interpreting data and quantitative and qualitative information.

  • Working knowledge of Medicaid-funded long-term supports and services for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

  • Demonstrated proficiency in research, writing, oral communication and editing skills.

  • Experience working with diverse colleagues and perspectives and demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion.
