Electrical Panel Production Supervisor

Munters is a global leader in climate solutions for mission-critical applications. As we continue to grow our Daleville, VA operations, we are looking for an Electrical Panel Shop Supervisor to lead our panel shop team and help ensure safe, efficient, high-quality production.

This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who understands electrical panel manufacturing, can troubleshoot technical issues, and enjoys developing people while keeping production moving.

• Supervise daily operations of the Electrical Panel Shop and lead production activities.
• Assign work, establish priorities, manage staffing, and monitor productivity.
• Oversee the assembly, wiring, labeling, and testing of electrical control panels and assemblies.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, BOMs, and engineering drawings.
• Provide hands-on technical support and troubleshooting for electrical and assembly issues.
• Ensure panels meet engineering specifications, quality standards, and production schedules.
• Partner with Engineering, Quality, Materials, Supply Chain, and Maintenance to resolve issues and keep production on track.
• Support engineering changes, ECOs, and updated manufacturing requirements.
• Lead safety initiatives, including PPE and Lockout/Tagout requirements.
• Coach, train, and develop panel shop employees while setting clear expectations for safety, quality, attendance, and performance.
• Identify opportunities to improve productivity, quality, throughput, and efficiency.
• Support Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Kaizen, and other continuous improvement initiatives.
• Help manage material availability, inventory concerns, and production shortages.

Required:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 5+ years of experience in electrical manufacturing, panel assembly, industrial controls, or a related field.
• Previous supervisory, lead, or team leadership experience in manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of electrical panel construction, wiring, and assembly.
• Ability to read schematics, wiring diagrams, BOMs, and engineering drawings.
• Strong electrical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of electrical components and industrial control systems.
• Working knowledge of electrical safety and Lockout/Tagout.
• Strong communication, organization, and leadership skills.

Preferred:

• Technical degree, electrical certification, or formal electrical training.
• Experience with PLCs, VFDs, DDC controls, or industrial automation.
• Experience in HVAC, data center equipment, engineered-to-order manufacturing, or industrial equipment.
• Lean Manufacturing, 5S, or Kaizen experience.
• Experience with ERP/MRP or manufacturing systems.
• Experience training and developing electrical technicians or panel builders.
