IRA Field Operations Administrator

SUMMARY

Mortenson is currently seeking an IRA Field Operations Administrator role is responsible for supporting IRA compliance, training, and implementation efforts across projects and operating groups. This role serves as a key resource for IRA administrators, project teams, and trade partners by providing guidance, training, and problem-solving assistance to ensure successful execution of IRA requirements.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• IRA Admin Support & Guidance
• Serve as a primary point of contact for IRA-related questions, including:
  • Passport and LCP Tracker support
  • Trade partner coordination
  • Prevailing wage and reporting requirements
• Provide ongoing support to project teams to ensure compliance with IRA requirements
• Assist with troubleshooting and resolving issues across projects

Training & Development

• Support Implementation Leads with IRA Admin training delivery and coordination
• Facilitate training sessions for new IRA administrators across E&I groups
• Assist in training superintendents and foremen on IRA requirements onsite
  • Participate in and support training efforts at foreman and superintendent summits
• Track, document, and maintain accurate records of training completion
• Continuously update training materials to reflect changes in guidance or processes

Communication & Coordination

• Communicate IRA updates, process changes, and guidance to all IRA admins
• Partner with the Prevailing Wage team to:
  • Share reporting updates
  • Communicate new requirements and expectations
• Serve as a liaison between IRA teams, project teams, and operating groups

Travel & Field Engagement

• Travel monthly during peak seasons (spring and summer) to:
• Support project teams
• Deliver onsite training
• Provide hands-on assistance
• Maintain minimal travel expectations during fall and winter months

QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum of four years' experience in administrative support

• Minimum of two years' experience in construction or related industry

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Project management, leadership and general business skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and interpersonal skills
• Problem solving skills and ability to balance multiple priorities
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
• Strong facilitation and presentation skills
• Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint and Word
• Active listening skills and effective communication including an openness to diverse input and feedback
• Minimum of two years in an administrative support role

The base pay range for this role is $32.00 an hour MIN - $43.57 an hour MAX. (Actual range is higher for the following office locations: Denver, CO and Chicago, IL - 5%, Seattle, WA, and Portland, OR - 10%, Washington, D.C. - 12.5%).

Base pay is positioned within the range based on several factors including an individual's knowledge, skills, and experience, with consideration given to internal equity.
