The Business Analyst supports OCHIN's mission by coordinating and delivering integrated products and services from preferred technology partners to member organizations. This role combines business analysis with project coordination, ensuring successful implementations, workflow optimization, and stakeholder alignment. The Analyst gathers and interprets business and technical requirements, manages timelines and deliverables, and provides subject matter expertise on supported products and systems. Acting as a bridge between technical teams, vendors, and internal stakeholders, the Analyst drives process improvements, resolves issues, and supports strategic initiatives that advance organizational goals.

Essential Functions:

* Lead and coordinate assigned projects from initiation to completion, ensuring timelines, deliverables, and quality standards are met. Proactively identify risks and implement mitigation strategies to maintain momentum.

* Gather, document, and translate business and technical requirements into clear, actionable plans for implementation teams. Assess impacts of proposed changes and provide recommendations that support operational efficiency and member success.

* Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, external vendors, and member organizations to align on project goals, expectations, and outcomes. Facilitate effective meetings, maintain transparent communication, and produce clear project documentation.

* Evaluate workflows and operational processes to identify opportunities for improvement. Lead or contribute to initiatives that streamline operations, enhance system functionality, and improve service delivery.

* Provide subject matter expertise on supported products and systems. Share knowledge with colleagues, mentor less experienced team members, and contribute to a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.

* Serve as a key point of contact for assigned projects and service areas, ensuring timely communication and follow-through.

* Support integration, implementation, and change-management activities, ensuring smooth transitions and minimal disruption.

* Contribute to strategic and business planning efforts by completing assigned initiatives and ensuring deliverables meet organizational goals.

* Use project management tools and methodologies to plan, execute, and monitor work.

* Ensure documentation, communication, and implementation practices align with organizational standards.

* Analyze complex problems, identify root causes, and propose practical solutions that support organizational effectiveness.

* Develop and maintain tools, templates, workflows, and processes that improve efficiency and quality.

* Support onboarding and ongoing education of team members on processes, systems, and best practices.

* Use independent judgment to assess needs, make informed decisions, and recommend solutions within defined scope.

* Build and maintain strong relationships across the organization, applying principles of emotional intelligence.

* Manage time and priorities effectively to meet deadlines in both collaborative and independent work environments.

* Communicate effectively across diverse teams, roles, and audiences.

* Seek opportunities for professional development and continuous learning.

* Mentor and support less experienced team members.

* Facilitate meetings involving technical, business, and executive stakeholders.

* Participate in continuous improvement and change-management efforts, applying structured methodologies to support successful transitions.

* Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

* Minimum 3 years of experience in Healthcare, Healthcare IT, Project Coordinator, or Business Analyst role or experience project managing including presenting/meetings, communications, and tracking progress from beginning to end preferred.

Prior to moving forward to the team interview, all candidates are required to complete a 50-60-minute competency assessment. The assessment gives us insights into how your strengths, preferences, and work style align with the OCHIN's nine core competencies. It's not about passing or failing-it's about understanding fit and setting you up for success.

Physical Requirements/Work Environment:

* Constant interpersonal skills, teamwork, and customer service. Frequent creativity, mentoring,

presentations, and teaching. Occasional decision making and independent judgment or action.

* Reading, speaking, writing, and understanding English.

* While performing the duties of the job, the employee is regularly required to sit for long periods of time; stand and walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms.

* This position requires a virtual home-office environment, working remotely.

* The role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers and mobile devices.

* Travel is required to support OCHIN's business requirements. Travel may require travel by air, vehicle, or train.

Work Location and Travel Requirements

OCHIN is a 100% remote organization with no physical corporate office location. Employees work remotely from home, and many of our positions also support our member organizations on-site for new software installations. Nationwide travel is determined based on OCHIN business needs. Please inquire during the interview process about travel requirements for this position.

• Travel required up to 20% nationally for on-site Go Live support based on business requirements for OCHIN

Base Pay Overview

OCHIN uses broadened pay ranges to support equitable and market-aligned compensation practices. The final offer will be based on a variety of factors, including relevant skills, certifications, education, experience, training, responsibilities, internal equity, and market data.
