Overview:

Global Power Components is a privately held, financially sound, growing manufacturer of UL heavy gauge steel fuel tanks, trailers, large generator enclosures and modular metal enclosures for housing fully equipped electrical distribution and control equipment. As a result of our continuing expansion and continued organizational growth, we are looking for a motivated Supply Chain Coordinator to join our team.

Description:

The Supply Chain Coordinator is responsible for ensuring efficient material flow and supporting production operations by coordinating procurement, inventory control, and logistics activities. This role works closely with internal departments to maintain accurate inventory levels and timely delivery of materials. This role also involves expediting materials as needed to meet production deadlines.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate with the Purchasing Department for procurement activities and supplier communication.
• Work closely with warehouse cycle counters to monitor inventory levels and ensure timely replenishment to support production.
• Maintain accurate records of materials and transactions in ERP systems.
• Support production by processing Requests for Material (RFM) and Requests for Information (RFI).
• Collaborate with Warehouse and Internal Logistics departments to ensure smooth material handling and delivery.
• Track shipments and resolve any delays or discrepancies.
• Coordinate with suppliers to expedite materials when necessary to meet production deadlines.
• Understand the urgency of requests and prioritize tasks according to production deadlines.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
• 2+ years of experience in supply chain, logistics, or procurement.
• Proficiency in ERP systems; Epicor experience is a plus.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to analyze data and solve problems effectively.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs as needed for material handling.
• Valid driver's license required.
