Overview:

Global Power Components is a privately held, growing manufacturer of UL steel fuel tanks, trailers, large generator enclosures and modular metal enclosures for housing fully equipped electrical distribution and control equipment. Global Power Components is a privately held, financially sound, growing manufacturer of UL heavy gauge steel fuel tanks, trailers, large generator enclosures, and modular metal enclosures for housing fully-equipped electrical distribution and control equipment.

Requirements:

• Strong mechanical aptitude and interest in learning welding skills.
• Previous experience in manufacturing, construction, automotive, maintenance, assembly, farming, military, or other hands-on environments preferred.
• Comfortable using hand and power tools.
• Ability to read a tape measure and perform basic shop math.
• Demonstrated reliability, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn.

Training will include:

Welding, Safety Standards, Blueprint Reading, Materials Knowledge/Metals, Equipment Setup, Virtual Training
