Plant Leader

Are you ready to take the lead in your career? Contech is looking for a dynamic and motivated Plant Leader to join our Winchester, KY plant. As a Plant Leader, you will play a pivotal role in coordinating production and shipping activities, and you'll be at the forefront of making things happen. Work hours to be Monday-Thursday 5:00-3:30, overtime may be expected to meet customer/plant expectations.

About the Role

As a Plant Leader, your responsibilities will include:

• Maintain and continuously improve the plant's overall safety program
• Lead efforts to communicate safety standards and set expectations
• Develop and train employees to job task analyses across all departments
• Perform safety behavior audits routinely
• Learn our manufacturing processes and assist the teams with meeting daily production goals
• Assist with leading 5S efforts across the facility
• Operate equipment when directed

What We Require

• Top tier work ethic and attendance record
• Ability to problem solve on short notice with urgency
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to multitask
• Ability to read shop drawings and complex work instructions
• Basic understanding of OSHA regulations
• Basic proficiency in Outlook Email, Excel, and PowerPoint
• 5+ years working in a manufacturing environment
• 1+ years leadership experience
• Experience operating a forklift strongly preferred
• Experience operating cranes strongly preferred
