In the role of
Drinking Water
Engineering Intern, we'll count on you to:
- Gain real-world experience on exciting water, wastewater, pipeline, pump station, and treatment facility projects
- Connect with recent college graduates and our company leaders through mentoring and young professionals programs
- Apply standard engineering techniques and procedures to the planning, design, and delivery of municipal water infrastructure projects
- Perform assignments under the direct supervision of a professional or Project Manager supporting water conveyance, storage, and treatment systems
- Assist with engineering analyses, hydraulic calculations, technical reports, design drawings, and construction support activities for water and wastewater facilities
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary project teams on the development of sustainable and resilient water infrastructure solutions
- Support project teams with data collection, hydraulic modeling, engineering analyses, cost estimating, specification preparation, and construction-phase services
Preferred Qualifications
- Prefer 2 years completed toward degree with 3.0+ GPA
- Demonstrated knowledge of software packages such as Microsoft Office products, Autodesk, or similar CAD software's.
Required Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate Engineering program
- Attention to detail
- Possess strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Basic Microsoft Office skills
- An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must
