Pipefitter- Shop

Pay: $32.00-$38.00 per hour + Full Benefits!!!

Turn drawings into precision built piping. At RK Industries, our shop fitters help fabricate the pipe spools that keep complex mechanical projects moving. If you take pride in accurate layout, quality work, and a safe shop, we want to hear from you.

• Read production drawings, specifications, bills of materials, and job orders to lay out and fabricate piping spools.

• Measure materials, operate shop tools and equipment, and handle materials safely.

• Inspect your work, document product compliance, and flag defects or drawing questions to the foreman.

• Work with the fabrication team to meet production goals and keep orders moving.

• Maintain a clean work area, care for shop equipment, and accurately record your time and production progress.

• Support new team members as you grow in the role.

Shop Fitter 1: Build your trade skills while performing fabrication work with direct supervision. Trade training, experience, or equivalent skills are preferred; a high school diploma or GED is preferred.

Shop Fitter 2: Bring solid knowledge of fitting tools, materials, and production practices. Perform fabrication work with moderate supervision and communicate clearly with your team.

Shop Fitter 3: Use strong trade knowledge to complete fabrication work with minimal supervision, review work for accuracy, and help keep quality and production on track.
