Job Summary Monday to Friday, from 6pm to 11pmSummary Responsible for maintaining a safe, clean, and sanitary environment throughout a hospital or healthcare facility. Performs a variety of environmental services duties to support patient, staff, and visitor safety and satisfaction. Does this position require Patient Care? No Essential Functions Sweep, mop, wax, strip, and polish floors; vacuum and shampoo carpets. Dust and polish furniture, fixtures, equipment, and woodwork. Clean walls, ceilings, windows, blinds, sills, door panels, and door glass. Empty, clean, and sanitize waste receptacles in assigned areas. Clean and disinfect restrooms, including sinks, urinals, toilets, mirrors, walls, and drinking fountains; replenish supplies as needed. Remove debris from building grounds and surrounding areas. Operate high- and low-speed floor care equipment, including stripping and buffing machines. Set up tables, chairs, and equipment for meetings, special events, and routine hospital activities. Identify and report maintenance, safety, and repair needs within assigned buildings and facilities. Qualifications High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred Can this role accept experience in lieu of a degree? No Licenses and Credentials Experience Experience working with the cleaning equipment and chemicals used in hospitals and healthcare centers 2-3 years required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities - Strong organization skills with attention to detail and accuracy. - Ability to work independently but also be a team player. - Good communication and comprehension skills.
