Financial Analyst, Corporate Accounting The Accountant role is an exciting opportunity to support the accounting functions for the Gentherm U.S. ledger. This role reports to the Gentherm GL and A/R Accounting Manager, U.S. The role offers you the opportunity to make a direct impact on key accounting and finance initiatives and advance your career by quickly gaining experience in a variety of accounting areas. You will work in a collaborative team environment and be responsible for the day-to-day accounting and analysis of the balances and activity on the Gentherm U.S. ledger. You will have the opportunity to bring new ideas for process improvements. Essential Functions and Responsibilities Prepare journal entries, reconcile, analyze, and review general ledger accounts. Assist with month and quarter end close activities. Provide support for special projects and ad hoc requests for the Gentherm U.S. accounting team. Provide support for technical accounting projects or transactions. Participate in identifying and executing continuous improvement opportunities within accounting workflows. Work directly with internal and external auditors to provide analyses and any required audit documentation. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting Ongoing desire to learn and a commitment to personal development Knowledge of accounting principles and practices Team player who can establish positive and productive working relationships with others Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
