| Position Summary |
The position oversees and is the primary point of contact and administrator for campus course scheduling in the student information system at the University of Georgia. The position performs several technical processes including system configuration and coordinates among 250+ course schedulers on campus as well as with the centralized class scheduling team in the Office of the Registrar to streamline technical processes and ensure data integrity in the student information system. The position administers the course scheduling calendar for the campus and provides a proactive approach to resolving course scheduling actions that negatively affect students' registration and fee assessment. The position provides course data for submission for
USG Academic Collection. The position serves as the liaison with department heads, Student Accounts, and Global Engagement for immediate resolution of course scheduling issues. The position operates independently with a great deal of autonomy and the ability to make decisions related to course scheduling. |

Oversees the Campus Course Scheduling Process and System, including Course Scheduling Training and User Maintenance
- Serve as the primary administrator and subject matter expert for course scheduling in the student information system on campus.
- Maintain course scheduling calendar for course schedulers.
- Provide technical user maintenance and support for course schedulers.
- Perform technical system configuration for such processes as course scheduling, waitlisting, generated emails, etc., in the student information system.
- Provide regularly scheduled technical trainings to new and existing users on how to effectively schedule classes in the student information system.
- Accountable for the daily section cancellation process in the student information system.
- Interpret written policies and procedures for course schedulers.
- Respond to and send emails from the course scheduler email account.
- Complete course section and student data maintenance and reconciliation in the student information system.
- Serve as section mediator for cross-listed sections in the student information system.
- Reconcile Study Abroad sections in the student information system.
- Reduce registration errors that produce tuition and fee assessment issues.
- Perform miscellaneous data entry in the student information system to sections for meeting reporting deadlines.

- Provide support as needed to the Office of the Registrar Service Center by triaging and answering questions from faculty, staff, students, and alumni.
- Provide guidance to students on policies and procedures related to their academic records as needed.
- Perform registration and academic record actions as needed, including but not limited to student records such as late adds, withdrawals, and applying to graduate.
