New York Real Estate Associate Attorney

The Role:

The ideal candidate will haveat least 3 years of law firm experience advising clients on large and complex real estate transactions.

The Real Estate Group advises the industry's leading players on the full range of real estate-related transactions across all asset classes. Our clients span real estate owners, investors, sponsors and developers, including sovereign wealth funds, global asset managers, private equity houses, institutional developers, lenders, and corporates - from first-time market entrants to the world's most active real estate platforms. Our market-leading real estate team works seamlessly alongside the firm's tax, finance, funds, and capital market practices to provide fully integrated advice at every stage of a transaction.

Your Experience:

• Experience advising clients on a broad range of commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, joint ventures, development projects, financing, leasing and strategic investments.
• Strong understanding of complex real estate transactions involving domestic and foreign institutional investors, private equity sponsors, asset managers, developers, lenders, and corporate clients.
• Experience managing substantial portions of sophisticated transactions, including drafting, and negotiating transaction documents, coordinating diligence, and supporting deal execution.
• Ability to work effectively across multidisciplinary teams
• Excellent analytical, drafting, negotiation, and project management skills, with a practical and commercial approach to client service.

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited US law school.
• High academic achievement.
• Strong interest in the subject area, entrepreneurial and a team-player.
• Admitted to (or possessing the ability to waive into) the New York Bar.
• Prior experience at a peer Am Law or international law firm.

Clifford Chance US LLP offers a comprehensive benefits and compensation package. The salary range for this role is $260,000-$390,000. Actual salary will be commensurate with the candidate's qualifications and relevant experience
