Clinical Associate Professor of Pediatrics -CHLA (Clinician Educator)

The Keck School of Medicine (KSOM) of the University of Southern California (USC) and Children's Hospital Los Angeles (CHLA) in the Department of Pediatrics in the Division of Hematology-Oncology, are actively seeking a full-time faculty member for the position of Clinical Associate Professor of Pediatrics (Clinician Educator).

The Division of Hematology-Oncology at CHLA within the Department of Pediatrics at the Keck School of Medicine of USC is recruiting for an Associate Professor specializing in pediatric hematopoietic cell transplantation and cellular therapy, with expertise in allogeneic transplantation, CAR T-cell therapy, GVHD, immunotherapy, and supportive care. He/She will hold a primary academic appointment in the Department of Pediatrics of the USC Keck School of Medicine at the level of Associate Professor. In this position, the candidate is expected to provide clinical care with the Transplantation and Cellular Therapy service and to participate in research and education.

The Cancer and Blood Disease Institute (CBDI) is the pediatric component of the NCI-designated USC-Norris Comprehensive Cancer Center and is one of the largest and top-ranked pediatric hematology-oncology programs in the U.S., serving one of our nation's most diverse patient populations. It hosts an ACGME-accredited Pediatric Hematology-Oncology Fellowship and advanced specialty post graduate sub-specialty fellowships. The CBDI has been continuously ranked by the U.S. News & World Report in the top ten pediatric cancer programs every year since the rankings were launched in 2008. Our large Clinical Trials Operation supports active clinical trials programs in hematology, oncology, and BMT and offers unsurpassed unique research opportunities through pediatric clinical trial consortia headquartered at the Center.

The annual base salary range for this position is $116,505--$417,709.
