Position Title: Raw Production
Wage: $17.50 per hour Shift: 1st Hours: 6:15am-3:00pm (Mon-Fri) QPS Employment Group has a great Raw Production position at a company in Galesburg, IL. This is a 1st shift position with the opportunity for hire. Raw Production Responsibilities include but are not limited to: - Handle and prepare raw meat products according to established production procedures. - Sort, trim, inspect, and process raw materials for production. - Load raw materials into production equipment as required. - Accurately weigh and measure ingredients and products. - Monitor product quality and identify any issues related to appearance, quality, or specifications. - Follow recipes, production schedules, and work instructions. - Maintain food safety, sanitation, and quality standards at all times. - Operate production equipment safely and efficiently. - Perform product and equipment checks throughout the shift. - Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations and production areas. - Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and company safety procedures. - Complete production records and documentation as required. - Work closely with team members to meet daily production goals. Raw Production Requirements: - Previous manufacturing, food production, or warehouse experience preferred but not required - Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment - Ability to follow written and verbal instructions - Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality - Ability to maintain food safety and sanitation standards - Basic math and measurement skills - Reliable attendance and punctuality - Ability to work independently and as part of a team. - Strong work ethic and positive attitude. - Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift. - Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50 pounds regularly. - Ability to bend, reach, twist, and perform repetitive motions. - Ability to work in refrigerated and temperature-controlled production environments. - Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) throughout the shift.
