Project Manager

As Project Manager, you will lead the end-to-end delivery of a global portfolio of upgrades across Altium, AutoCAD, Cadence OrCAD, NX, SolidWorks, DraftSight, and SolidWorks PDM. You will establish consistent governance and execution practices, coordinate technical and business workstreams, manage dependencies with integrated platforms, and provide transparent reporting from planning through stabilization. Your work will improve delivery predictability, reduce upgrade cycle time and risk, and maximize subject matter experts' ability to focus on technical support outside of the upgrade projects. You will report to the Manager, Digital Planning & Execution.

• Own integrated plans for the CAD/eCAD upgrade portfolio, defining timing, scope, objectives, milestones, resources, deliverables, acceptance criteria, and project close-out activities.
• Establish and maintain a repeatable upgrade playbook, governance cadence, roles and responsibilities, decision paths, and standard project controls across upgrades.
• Coordinate engineering, digital technology, infrastructure, application support, end point architecture, vendors, business units, and site stakeholders across global workstreams.
• Identify and manage risks, issues, assumptions, decisions, and cross-platform dependencies, including dependencies with PLM and downstream systems; escalate early with clear options and recommendations.
• Drive accountability to milestones and coordinate readiness activities such as environment preparation, testing, pilot expectations, deployment, training, communications, cutover, and stabilization.
• Provide concise, decision-oriented status reporting that gives leadership visibility to progress, key risks, dependencies, resource constraints, and required decisions.
• Facilitate stakeholder alignment and change control, ensuring affected user groups and sites are included in planning and that unresolved exceptions have an accountable recovery path.
• Track delivery outcomes and apply lessons learned to improve predictability, reduce cycle time, and increase upgrade consistency.
• Minimize the need for technical SMEs to be involved in planning, coordinating, follow-up, reporting and other administrative functions so we can maximize their expertise where needed.
• Evaluate practical uses of automation and AI to streamline project administration, reporting, knowledge capture, and repeatable upgrade activities.

• Bachelor's degree in project management, business, engineering, information systems, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience managing complex digital technology, infrastructure, or enterprise software projects, from project initiation through deployment, and stabilization.
• Demonstrated ability to build integrated schedules, manage dependencies, and drive accountability across teams without direct authority.
• Experience applying structured project governance, risk and issue management, change control, and executive-level reporting.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to translate technical information into clear business impacts, decisions, and actions.
• Ability to manage multiple concurrent workstreams, changing priorities, and geographically distributed stakeholders.
• Proficiency with project planning, collaboration, and reporting tools.
• Ability to participate, as needed, in meetings outside standard local business hours to support global teams and deployment events.
• Advocate of applying AI and automation solutions to improve efficiency and accuracy.

• Experience with CAD, eCAD, PLM, engineering applications, software upgrades, validation, cutover planning, or production stabilization.
• Experience working with globally distributed engineering teams, software vendors, and integrated application environments.
• Experience developing reusable delivery practices, metrics, dashboards, or automation that improve project efficiency and visibility.
• Proactive adoption of AI to solve every day tasks.
• Project management certification such as Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), or a similar credential.
