The Opportunity

An exciting opportunity is available for a Business Development Representative to join the Singlewire team. As part of our team, you will be a highly visible team member responsible for the generating leads for the sales team. This position is located in our home office in Madison, WI and is an awesome opportunity to grow and succeed in the software technology industry!

What You'll Do

If you are a motivated, competitive, and fast-paced team player we want you to join our Sales team as a Business Development Representative. The ideal candidate will be responsible for generating leads for our sales team through cold calling and prospecting. Qualified candidates should be self-starters with proven track records of success in their professional and personal or collegiate lives. Job responsibilities include:

  • Prospecting: Researching target companies and ideal customer profiles (ICPs) to build contact lists
  • Outreach: Executing cold calls, personalized emails, and social selling to connect with decision-makers
  • Lead Qualification: Assessing whether a prospect fits company criteria before booking a meeting
  • Appointment Scheduling: Handing off qualified leads and introductory calls to Sales Reps
  • CRM Management: Tracking daily activities, call notes, and prospect interactions in Salesforce
  • Respond to inbound requests via chat, telephone and email
  • Ability to understand customer requirements and identify potential Singlewire solutions to fulfill requirements
  • Achieve, or exceed, monthly quotas of qualified opportunities
The Person We're Looking For

You May Be Right for Us If You Have:

  • 1 to 2 years of Sales experience
  • Clear verbal and written skills to build quick rapport and deliver value
  • Ability to handle rejection and work in a fast-paced, quota-driven environment
  • Familiarity with CRM software (Salesforce and basic data tools like MS Excel.
  • Problem-solving mentality to help create effective, and efficient, processes
  • Ability to thrive in fast-paced environments and can pivot quickly without sacrificing quality or detail.
