ChristianaCare Rehabilitation Services is seeking a Pediatric Rehabilitation Technician to join our team at the ChristianaCare Women's and Children's building on the Newark campus.

This is a part-time position working approximately 15 to 20 hours per week. The position requires every weekend, with the opportunity to pick up additional shifts during the week.

Weekend hours: 7:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Join our rehabilitation team and play an important role in supporting exceptional care for our pediatric patients and their families.

Provide supportive services within the Pediatric Rehabilitation Department, including newborn hearing screenings and assistance with pediatric rehabilitation services.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform Auditory Brainstem Response (ABR) hearing screenings on newborns and document results appropriately.
• Explain the purpose of the hearing screening and communicate results to parents and other caregivers.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe environment for patient care.
• Clean and prepare equipment for patient use.
• Assist with restocking supplies and equipment.
• Support pediatric rehabilitation care as needed in the NICU, pediatric unit, and postpartum areas.
• Assist with other duties within the Pediatric Rehabilitation Department as needed.

Education and Experience Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous experience working or volunteering in a hospital, childcare, or therapy setting preferred.
