Position Title: Production Worker - Box Shop
Wage: $17.00/hour Shift: 1st Hours: 6:00am - 3:00pm (Monday - Thursday), 6:00am - 12:00pm (Friday) We are seeking a reliable General Laborer to work in a fast-paced box shop production environment in Milwaukee, WI. This position involves assisting with the assembly, preparation, and handling of materials used in production. Production Worker Responsibilities: - Assemble and build boxes and other production materials according to specifications - Operate various power tools, including staple guns, nail guns, chop saws, panel saws, drills, and other hand tools - Measure and cut materials accurately using a tape measure - Perform basic math calculations to determine measurements and quantities - Inspect materials and completed work to ensure quality and accuracy - Move, stack, and organize materials throughout the production area - Maintain a clean and organized work area and follow all safety procedures - Work efficiently as part of a production team while meeting daily production goals Requirements for Production Worker: - Previous manufacturing, production, construction, or general labor experience is preferred but not required - Comfortable using power tools and hand tools - Ability to read and understand a tape measure and perform basic math - Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs. regularly - Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform physical tasks for most of the shift - Dependable, safety-conscious, and willing to work in a hands-on production environment QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
