Senior Credentialing Analyst

Harkcon, Inc. is a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business supporting federal missions.

We are seeking an experienced Analyst to evaluate complex professional credential applications. This role requires prior advanced qualification in federal maritime credential evaluation and a record of accurate, timely case review.

Location: National Maritime Center, Martinsburg, WV

Key Responsibilities

• Review applications, supporting records, training, assessments, and service history against established credentialing requirements.
• Identify missing or inconsistent information, explain required corrections, and document recommendations for Government review.
• Maintain accurate electronic case records and respond professionally to applicants and authorized representatives.
• Meet established quality and turnaround standards; participate in peer review, refresher training, and process improvements.

Required Qualifications

• Prior successful completion of Government-provided maritime credential evaluator training through the advanced level, with demonstrated proficiency reviewing complex applications.
• Documented experience applying maritime credentialing standards to sea service, vessel tonnage, operating routes, training, and competency evidence.
• Demonstrated accuracy in application review and ability to substantiate prior training and quality performance.
• Strong written communication, electronic records management, and attention to detail.
• Ability to meet applicable customer screening, facility access, information protection, and system access requirements.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience reviewing varied endorsement types and resolving unusual or incomplete applications.
• Experience with quality reviews, procedural updates, or coaching other evaluators.

Additional Information:

This is a full-time, on-site position located at the National Maritime Center in Martinsburg, WV.
