Prototype Garage Mechanic (SBU)
- Work to be performed consists of General Mechanic Knowledge
- Diagnostic of all vehicle systems, Engine/Transmission changes, Electrical diagnostics, and re-works to adapt engineering changes
Basic Qualifications:
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in Auto Service
- Possess basic computer skills: MS Office, Teams, Etc.
- Diagnostic tool capability (CDA, Canalyzer, etc.) wire harness fabrication and rework, reading of schematics, utilize OWN tools
- Able to work in team environment
- Strong emphasis on excellent communication skills (written and verbal) and teamwork
- Valid Driver's License, No Physical Restrictions
Preferred Qualifications:
- S.E. certified
- Strong background in Fabrication
- Strong background in EV vehicle diagnostics
- Minimum of 3 years of auto dealership service experience
- Two-year technical degree in electronics, experience servicing vehicles
- Able to work Overtime and potential travel
