The contractor will serve as the IBCS Increment 3 Engineering Lead and senior technical Subject Matter Expert (SME). Responsibilities In this role, the contractor will provide comprehensive advisory support and technical expertise to the Systems Engineering team, focusing on requirements definition, traceability, hardware/software development, platform integration, component qualification, and system qualification. This engineering support extends to technology insertion testing, failure review boards, producibility, system modeling and simulation performance, product assurance, configuration management, test and evaluation, reliability, and in-service support for Increment 3 products. As a Senior Advisor, the contractor will evaluate and assist in ensuring that all technical aspects of integrating IBCS into the AMDPCS family of systems meet all established technical requirements throughout the system lifecycle. The contractor will support the IFMC Hardware Product Manager and Hardware Chief Engineer by providing independent technical reviews and assisting in maintaining engineering discipline across all modernization programs. The contractor will serve as a direct advisor to the Hardware Chief Engineer for the proper application of engineering principles. Additionally, the contractor will develop executive briefings, information papers, and technical reports, and will actively participate in discussions and briefings with senior Army, other Services, and OSD leaders, such as the Army Acquisition Executive, ASA (ALT) Systems of Systems Engineering & Integration, OSD Systems Engineering, and AT&L.
