Find your calling at Mercy! Performs the primary function of a Surgical Technologist in the Operating Room. Maintains accountability for the provision of surgical instruments to the surgical team. Coordinates the care of the surgical patient with other team members. Maintains patient rights and confidentiality. Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards. Position Details: Mercy South - Win From Within - Surgical Tech 10010 Kennerly Road St. Louis, MO 63128 Spring 2027 Win From Within is only accepting ONE Surgical Tech student this semester- first or second year in the program are eligible. Mercy Hospital South is proud to support the next generation of Surgical Technologists through our Win From Within program - a unique opportunity for financial support, professional growth, and a smoother transition into practice after graduation. In Partnership With These Schools: St. Louis Community College Program Benefits & Highlights: This program offers up to $10,000/year in tuition support, covering up to 3 years/$30,000. Funding includes tuition, books, registration/lab/technology fees, clinical scrubs, and more. It is designed to support a smooth transition into professional practice after graduation and provides direct career pathway opportunities within Mercy. Eligibility Criteria: Actively enrolled in a Surgicsal Tech program at a participating school. Work & Commitment Requirements: Work a minimum of 16 hours per pay period (every 2 weeks) in a hospital-based role.
