Accounts Receivable Specialist- Direct Hire Location: Jonesboro, AR Employment Type: Direct Hire \| Full-Time Salary: $40,000+ Annually (Based on Experience) Education Requirements High School Diploma or GED required. Associate's degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, or a related field preferred. Experience Requirements Previous Accounts Receivable, Accounting Clerk, Bookkeeping, or Finance experience preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and accounting software. Strong data entry, problem-solving, and customer service skills. Ability to handle confidential financial information with professionalism and accuracy. Excellent communication, organizational, and time-management skills. Physical Capabilities Ability to sit and work at a computer for extended periods. Ability to review detailed financial records with a high degree of accuracy. Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced office environment. Job Duties Post and apply customer payments accurately and timely. Research and resolve payment discrepancies, deductions, and account issues. Assist customers with billing inquiries, payment disputes, and account questions. Maintain accurate customer account records and process necessary adjustments. Review new customer accounts and assist with credit evaluations. Collaborate with internal departments to support accurate financial reporting and account reconciliation.
