PCTs gain hands-on experience with EKGs, phlebotomy, splinting, triage, ADLs, trauma support, and code response while working in a highly collaborative, team-oriented environment. Previous Emergency Department or related healthcare experience is strongly preferred due to the pace and complexity of the unit. The team supports professional growth, with opportunities to participate in committees, improvement initiatives, and gain valuable experience for those interested in pursuing a future nursing career. This position is afull-time Evening shift working with 3-12 hour shifts from 10:00 AM-10:30 PM. We offer self-scheduling for shift and weekend coverage. Scheduled workdays may vary, as there are no set or fixed days. Weekend and Holiday Rotations are required in this role. Weekend shift differentials are offered, along with evening and night shift differentials where applicable. Why Join Us? Provides patient related care tasks based on the principles of growth and development across the life span of patients served in his/her independent unit. Assists, observes, and reports patient changes to licensed caregiver and maintains accurate medical record documentation relative to the care delivered.
