Vascular Ultrasound Technologist

Schedule/Shift: 8-hour shifts, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Position Overview

The Vascular Ultrasound Technologist performs diagnostic vascular ultrasound examinations across a range of arterial and venous studies. This role requires experience evaluating postsurgical patients, dialysis access, and venous conditions while maintaining accurate examination documentation in Epic.

Job Responsibilities

• Perform vascular ultrasound examinations, including aortic, carotid, and renal artery duplex studies.
• Conduct upper- and lower-extremity arterial and venous examinations.
• Perform arterial graft studies, arterial mapping, and dialysis graft evaluations.
• Complete duplex studies and peripheral vascular resistance assessments.
• Perform vascular examinations for postsurgical patients and patients receiving dialysis.
• Maintain accurate and timely examination documentation in Epic.
• Follow established examination protocols and patient safety standards.

Job Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of vascular ultrasound experience.
• Experience performing aortic, carotid, renal artery duplex, arterial graft, arterial mapping, and dialysis graft studies.
• Experience performing upper- and lower-extremity arterial and venous studies, duplex examinations, and peripheral vascular resistance assessments.
• Experience with postsurgical vascular examinations, dialysis access evaluations, and venous studies.
• Current Registered Vascular Specialist (RVS) certification through Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI).

Additional Job Details

• Charting system: Epic.
• All requested time off, block scheduling requests, and other scheduling requests must be submitted at the time of submission.
• The facility may cancel one shift per 2-week pay period.
• First-time travelers and local candidates are accepted.
• Holiday coverage is required, typically every other holiday.
